How to Create a Contact Page Transcript:
Okay so in this video I’m going to show you how to create a Contact Page with a plug-in that you just recently installed. Alright, let’s get started!
Okay so to begin, you’re going to go to this left hand side called “Plug-ins”. You’re going to click on that and you want to activate your “Contact Form 7”. Click “Activate”. Great! So now that it’s activated I’m going click on “Settings” and now I want to basically copy the short code. So I’m going to go ahead and copy this. And I’m going to create a Contact Page. So I’m going to go to the left hand side and click “Add New” pages. And I’m just going to title it “Contact Us”. Next, I’m just going to paste this short code and I’m going to click “Publish”. Now that it’s published I’m going to click “Preview Changes” to see what it looks like.
Okay so here’s what your basic Contact Page looks like. You have your name, where they’re going to put their email, their subject, and what the email message is and they’re going t click “Send”. Just in case you wanted to edit what email address that gets sent to you can go back inside to your plug-in and adjust it. Go back inside the dashboard. There’s an icon that says “Contact” on the left hand side. Click on that. And you can edit this “Contact Form 1” .
So right here where it says “Mail” you can change the email address that you want it to send to. So that’s how you change which email address you want that sender to send the email to. So it could be your own personal or it could be your business account. Alright! So that’s a quick tutorial on how to setup your contact page. I’ll see you guys in the next video!
