Why Wix sites get rebuilt.

What Wix's own help center says about exporting, and what we do instead.

  • Your pages

    No export

Wix help centerA Wix site must be hosted on Wix's servers.

So we rebuild every page from your live site.

  • Your blog

    No export

Wix help centerWix can't export blog posts to another platform.

So we move each post ourselves, with its photos.

  • Your store

    Partial export

Wix help centerOnly physical products export, as a CSV file.

So we import the file and add digital ones by hand.

Is there a Wix to WordPress migration tool?

Yes. WordPress.com's Wix importer brings over pages, images and menus, but not blog posts (a separate RSS plugin can pull your 20 newest), and a theme replaces your design. We rebuild both.

Same site, now yours.

We rebuild each Wix page in WordPress to look the way it does now, or better if you'd like. Then it's yours: a WordPress site you own, with pages you edit yourself in Beaver Builder.

Drag to compare. A drawn example: same layout, words and photos, now on a site you own.

Your Wix apps, in WordPress.

Leave Wix, protect your rankings.

By default, Wix starts every blog post address with /post/ and every product with /product-page/. We keep each one or redirect it to its new page, and copy any redirects you've set up in Wix's URL Redirect Manager.

What we need from you.

That's how long most sites take, depending on how fast content and feedback come in. Your Wix site stays live until the switch.

  • Your Wix site's addressWe copy every page from your live site.
  • Your product listIf you sell, export it from Wix as a CSV.
  • Access to member pagesIf some pages are for members only.
  • Access to your domainWhen it's time to point it to WordPress.

Wix move FAQ

Something else on your mind?
Ask us directly.

Yes, though not as a file. Wix keeps every site on its own servers, so converting it means rebuilding it: we recreate each page in WordPress from your live site, then point your domain to it.

Leave it to us. Wix has no blog export, and its RSS feed only carries your 20 newest posts, so we move every post by hand with its photos and redirect its old /post/ address.

Yes. You export your physical products from Wix as a CSV file, we bring it into WooCommerce, and we add any digital products by hand. Order history and customer accounts aren't in that file, so we'll talk those through first. See e-commerce website design.

No. A domain bought through Wix can stay registered there and simply point to your new WordPress site. Moving the registration is up to you, and the domain stays in your name either way.

Yes. We copy each page's SEO title, meta description and image alt text from your live Wix site into WordPress, so Google sees the same details on the new pages.

Mostly how many blog posts and products you have, since Wix exports neither posts nor digital products and those move by hand. You'll see the price in your proposal before we start.
