What we collect
What you send us. When you fill in a form on this site (the contact form, a proposal request, a free website audit request, or a client feedback form), we receive what you type. This can include your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, project details, budget, and your message.
Information about your website. If you ask for a free website audit, we review the public pages of the website you send us.
Client and billing information. If you hire us, we keep your contact details, project details, and billing records. We send invoices through FreshBooks, and card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your general location, device, browser, and the pages you view.
Basic server logs. Our host, Flywheel, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- reply to you and prepare the proposal or audit you asked for;
- plan, build, bill for, and support your project;
- send you project messages, such as invoices, updates, and changes to our terms; and
- understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
Your form details are sent to our business email inbox. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Websites we build or look after for clients
If we build, host, or maintain a website for you, information that visitors submit through your website's forms belongs to you. We process it only to deliver it to you and run your website, and we don't use it for our own purposes. You are responsible for your own website's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure visits. WordPress may also set cookies the site needs to work. We do not set advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
This site runs on WordPress and is hosted by Flywheel. We use Google Analytics to measure visits. We send invoices through FreshBooks, and card payments are processed by Stripe. If we send you a link to book a call, the booking happens on Calendly. Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep proposal, audit, and contact requests for up to 12 months. We keep client and billing records for as long as you are a client and afterward as needed for taxes, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we are required to keep it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure.
Children
This site is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We will respond to every request we receive. Email anthony@marketingaccesspass.com or linh@marketingaccesspass.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top. We will also email active clients about important changes.
