Pick a widget, see what it becomes.

Here's what the common ones become, including widgets that need Elementor Pro. The rarer ones we rebuild from other modules.

Form in Elementor (Needs Elementor Pro) becomes the Contact Form module in Beaver Builder. Simple forms move to it and email you each entry; longer forms go into a form plugin.

Your site stays, Elementor goes.

It's the same WordPress site, so your domain, page addresses, posts, photos and users all stay put. Elementor, its add-ons and your current theme go. Your pages move to Beaver Builder, your header and footer to Beaver Themer, and your site to the Beaver Builder Theme.

In Elementor's own words.

What Elementor's help center says about Pro plans, updates and how layouts are saved, and what changes on Beaver Builder.

“When your subscription expires, Pro features stop immediately until you renew or connect a new license.”
Elementor Help Center, “Renew your subscription”

Free Elementor keeps working, but once your site is on Beaver Builder you can cancel Elementor Pro. On our hosting and maintenance plans, our Beaver Builder license covers your site; hosting it yourself, you'd buy your own.

  • “Updating the free version of Elementor without updating the Pro version can lead to compatibility problems and cause issues with your site.”
Elementor Help Center, on not renewing Elementor Pro

One builder to keep current, not two. We update it with your other plugins on our maintenance plans.

  • “…Elementor stores the page data and layout in a JSON format as WordPress post metadata…”
    Elementor Developers, “Data Structure”

Your layouts are saved in Elementor's own format, so we rebuild each page by hand.

We don't rely on one. Elementor saves each layout in its own format, so we convert your site by rebuilding every page in Beaver Builder by hand, matched on desktop, tablet and phone.

No. It's the same WordPress site, so your pages keep their addresses. If one has to change, we set up a 301 redirect from the old address to the new one.

We review your site first and price the proposal on what the design involves, so the number is accurate. You see it and agree to it before we begin.

Simple forms become Beaver Builder's Contact Form module, which emails you each entry; forms with more fields move into a form plugin. Popups are rebuilt with Beaver Builder's Popup module.

Only the ones built with Elementor. Posts written in the standard WordPress editor stay exactly as they are.

Yes. Once every page is rebuilt and checked, we deactivate and delete Elementor and Elementor Pro. Then cancel your Elementor Pro plan, since it renews on its own until you do.

It's what most of our client sites run on. Full disclosure: our co-founder also works at Beaver Builder. We're an independent agency, and Beaver Builder doesn't review or endorse what we build.
